摘要

an algorithm based on monocular vision is proposed to identify the brake tail light of the front vehicle during driving. In this paper, the color component enhancement formula is used to enhance the red channel component, and the center is high lighted while the surrounding areas are red when the brake light is on, combined with morphological feature extraction method to filter background interference. The simulation results prove the feasibility of this method, which can accurately identify the front brake tail light lit in video. The method proposed in this paper improves the accuracy of the recognition of the front brake taillights, and has the characteristics of stable and fast recognition. It is of great significance to the study of vehicle driving aids.
