Based on a 220 kV transformer as the research object, using the finite element modal analysis, the transformer winding natural frequency and the relationship between the axial pre-tightening force, and to determine transformer winding the optimal value of pretesting force in the process of production. Results show that the change of the transformer winding axial pre-tightening force has more obvious effect on natural frequencies and natural frequency of the winding with reduced with the decrease of the pretesting force. With the loss of the pre-tightening force, loose structure, natural frequency gradually to 100 Hz. Therefore, to determine the optimal transformer winding to avoid retightening transformer resonance occurred during actual operation target.
