The paper is dedicated to the problem of developing devices based on modern intelligent information systems - V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure). As part of the research, an analysis of the telematics operational communications market for intelligent transport information systems intended for the organization of a communication network under unstable cellular coverage was carried out. An assessment of the prospects for the development of technology in the context of autonomous driving systems, as well as solving problems of improving road safety was made. Technological solutions presented on the market, their features and characteristic differences are considered. An example of a prototype electronic device designed for organizing a dynamic communication connection of the transport network participants is proposed.
