A review of methods for constructing multibeam antenna arrays forming frequency-independent radiation characteristics in a wide frequency band is presented. A comparison of the methods is given and it is shown that phase methods are more preferable for multibeam antenna arrays. For antenna arrays with uniform amplitude excitation, variations of phase methods for the formation of frequency-independent radiation characteristics are considered. For linear multibeam arrays, a method is proposed based on the properties of non-equidistant discrete apertures. For two-dimensional arrays, a method based on the choice of aperture configuration forming a falling amplitude distribution of an equivalent linear radiator is considered. It is shown that the effect of stabilization of partial radiation patterns can be achieved in a frequency band of at least four octaves wide.
