A novel approach is proposed in this paper for minimization of the radiation pattern (RP) distortions of antenna arrays (AA) when forming the pattern nulls using the extreme properties of eigenvalues of regular pencil of Hermitian forms. According to this technique when calculating the currents in elements of antenna array it is necessary to multiply the inverse matrix of Hermitian form, which includes the information about the power of noise and interference, by the same matrix without the interference. This technique was implemented to form the nulls in cosecant, sector-shaped and Chebyshev radiation patterns.
