In SDMA (Space division multiple access) mobile communication systems, cell sectoring of the coverage area is used to increase frequency spectrum efficiency. Each sector is served by either a separate antenna or switched-beam antenna array. The report deals with the construction of such arrays based on the reflective type beam-forming networks (RBFN). The requirements for the scattering matrix of the RBFN are formulated. For the arrays rational using of geometrical symmetry properties allowed to propose a convenient algorithm for synthesis and the structure design of RBFN.
