Using Modular DSI and ACI Systems for Low Cost Air Pollution Control

This presentation discusses the use of modular activated carbon injection (ACI) systems for mercury control and modular dry sorbent injection (DSI) systems for acid gas reduction. The modular ACI and DSI systems offer a low cost method of achieving emission reductions and compliance, as compared to traditional scrubber and other control technologies. Example emission removal performance of the ACI and DSi systems is given, along with a description of the modular systems and their components. Finally, case studies are presented that show how these modular systems have been used successfully for industrial plant air emissions control.
