Mechanical approach on the investigation of hydroentangled wet wipes

With only two used materials the variety in the dispersibility properties of a wet wipe is quite big. Using flat shaped viscose fibres is the key parameter to control the dispefsive behaviour. The influence of the shape is more important than the difference between hydrophobic or swellable viscose fibres. Although the reasons are not perfectly clear, also the pulp has an impact on the dispersibility of wet wipes.
