Genyem Hydropower is located in a Genyem river with a large sediment inflow so that the intake operation must be far from the range of sediment flow. This analysis will examine the results of erosion and sedimentation in the watershed using the 2000 AVSWAT (Arc View Soil And Water Assessment Tool) model application. The results show from 2005 to 2014, the average erosion rate in the watershed is 29.47 tons /ha/year and the sediment yield is an average of 17.41 tons/ha/year. The location of the first sediment control (Check Dam 1) is in the downstream SubDAS 22 with a high Erosion Hazard Index (IBE) value storage volume is 6279.07 m~3 and is expected to control the sedimentation rate by 96% of the potential for a normal sedimentation rate. While the location of the second sediment control building (Check Dam 2) is at the downstream of SubDAS 26 with high IBE values, volume of the Check Dam 2 is 5693.73 m~3 it is expected to control the sedimentation rate by 96% of the potential for normal sedimentation rates.
