Asimiro River is located in Loloda Utara District, North Halmahera Regency. When it rained it was quite heavy the river flow overflowed to inundate the settlements in the Asimiro River area. The flood that occurs is even greater, if it coincides with rising sea tides. The height and length of inundation that occur also varies depending on tides and topographical conditions. This study aims to see how the existing conditions of the Asimiro River. In addition, observation conducted in order to see which side of the river is flooded and analyze using the HEC-RAS application. The effort to handle flooding itself using embankments which are planned to use a 10-year return flow rate of 90.534 m~3 /sec, obtained embankment height of 2.25 m. Analysis of the calculation of stability using the Fellenius method was carried out with a slope of 1: 2 and obtained a slope factor of 1.897 meeting the safety standard of 1.250. And based on economic analysis, the most optimum embankment has the interest rate of 9.75%, BCR value of 1.17, NPV of Rp. 3,272,466,127.85, and IRR of 16%.
