Distributed control has emerged as an interesting research topic. This paper studies a distributed Model Predictive Controller (DMPC) with accelerated dual gradient method for systems composed of nonlinear subsystems interconnected dynamically and by constraints. The developed algorithm is applied to a wind-solar system. Simulations conducted on Matlab prove the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
