摘要

A novel Decagonal Sierpinski Fractal antenna having a modified ground and asymmetric co-planar feed line for Ultra-wideband (UWB) applications has been proposed in this paper. The simulation results of proposed antenna display its capability of operating over ultra-wide range, ranging from 3.31 GHz to 31.11GHz (i.e. bandwidth of 27.8 GHz is obtained) and peak gain of 8.06dBi. Proposed antenna design has shown optimal gain characteristics and stable radiation patterns. Proposed antenna finds usage in military applications, satellite communication, sensor networks and habitat management etc.
