摘要

A simple dipole-like antenna with small size has been proposed for sub-6GHz applications. The proposed antenna is fed by microstrip line, and it is realized by using a semi-circular ring patch connected with meander lines. The resonance frequency can be controlled by the dimensions of the circular ring and the length of the meander line. The performance is verified in the HFSS, and the results demonstrated that the antenna has a bandwidth of 300MHz and a good omnidirectional radiation pattern, which can be used for 4.8–5GHz sub-6GHz communication applications.
