摘要

We propose a refractive index (RI) based biosensor using photonic quasi-crystal fiber to diagnose metastasis brain tumor cells. The fiber structure optimization is carried out by varying diameter of tumor cell cavity size and pitch in order to observe the wavelength shift. The performance of proposed RI based biosensor is analyzed by means of wavelength sensitivity and figure of merit (FoM). The proposed biosensor exhibits the ultra-high wavelength sensitivity as 2,15,827 nm/RIU and FoM is about 5497.19.
