摘要

A microwave photonic system based on microring resonator and electrical filter for generating ultrawideband waveforms is proposed and analyzed in a simulation environment. These waveforms are obtained by varying the bandwidth, order of filter and timestep, number of samples of electrical signal resampler. UWB waveforms covering the 3.1 – 4.8 GHz band of the UWB spectrum are obtained for a sixth order bandpass filter of bandwidth 5 GHz.
