The detection of ore granularity based on image processing has become one of the hot topics in ore granularity detection. On-line detection of ore particle size is of great significance to the fragmentation of ore dressing, and the manual detection method has many steps and takes a long time. The ore granularity measurement system based on image processing is fast, accurate and adaptable. By analyzing the crushing process and using computer vision and image processing technology, the on-line detection of ore particle size and the calculation of particle size distribution are realized. Finally, the error between artificial sieving and image granularity analysis is studied by taking the dressing shop of the concentrator as an example. It is proved by the data that the on-line detection and analysis system of ore granularity image can accurately realize the detection of ore particle size distribution in actual production, and the feasibility and accuracy of the system are well verified.
