In this paper, a novel wave-guide slot antenna is proposed. Compared with the conventional waveguide slot antenna, the antenna presented here has wider bandwidth, lower profile, and its structure and process are easier. Besides, the 2×2 and 2×4 array operating at Ku band are designed. The simulation results indicate that the bandwidth is more than 16% based on the VSWR ≤2 and efficiency≥80%,and the radiation pattern is perfect. The antenna structure proposed in this paper has so many attractive features that it has a wide range of application s on equipments which require the antenna with a wide-band, high-gain and low-profile.
