A dual-band 1×2 rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) array operating at 5th generation (5G) mobile communication bands is presented in this paper. The dimensions of rectangular dielectric resonator antenna are calculated, and its TE111x and TE113x modes are utilized for this dual-band design. The microstrip Wilkinson power divider is used to feed the array. The simulated results demonstrate that the DRA array covers the 5G bands (3.3-3.6 GHz and 4.8-5.0 GHz) and enhance the gain. Furthermore, the DRA array is fabricated and measured and the measured results are in good agreement with simulated results.
