Isolation and characterization of a novel Geobacter strain from microbial fuel cell treating sewage wastewater

Selective agar cultivation supplemented with AQDS successfully resulted the isolation of strain SL11 as a novel species of genus Geobacter, a first isolate of exoelectrogen that obtained from sewage wastewater.
