Steam System Optimization of a Linerboard Paper Machine

These two projects combined would reduce the plant's energy consumption by 27,100 MMBTU per year, which is a 3.5% reduction in thermal energy usage. This optimization demonstrates that several opportunities still exist in paper facilities to reduce energy consumption through projects with great financial returns using traditional technologies.
