Rare-earth Free Multi-phase Motor with Fault Tolerant Control

摘要

1. In study, design and fault tolerant control of multiphase Fa-SynRM were discussed. 2. Multiphase Fa-SynRM provides more reliability when fault occurs in the system. 3. For performance point of view, five phase Fa-SynRM is better than three phase Fa-SynRM. 4. Using ferrite magnet ensures good performance while reducing the cost of the machine compared with costly rare earth magnets.
