This paper presents design and simulation of pentagonal antenna for UWB application with center frequency of 7GHz. The proposed antenna is derived from a circular patch designed to resonate at 7GHz and the feed line dimensions are designed using TXLINE 2003 and ANSYS HFSS v17 software. The antenna resonates at 7.5GHz with a bandwidth of 440MHz and return loss ?19.5dB. It exhibit omnidirectional radiation with a gain of 4.3dB
