Wireless optical communication through clear atmosphere is affected by turbulence induced fading and misalignment errors. This results in decreased signal to noise ratio which leads to reduced link performance. In this work, performance of Wireless Optical Communication using Polarization Shift Keying modulation in K distributed turbulent channel is investigated in consideration of the effect of pointing errors. A novel closed form expression is derived for the average capacity of WOC link in K-distributed fading. Numerical analysis have been accomplished to validate the analytical expressions derived.
