摘要

Integration of intermittent power plant into system will have a significant effect to the system. The intermittency of these renewable energy source will cause uncertainty in system operation. In small island, which is serve by small isolated system, defense scheme will set only to allow small change in system frequency. Transient stability, especially frequency stability of system is proposed methodology to determine maximum capacity of intermittent power plant which can penetrate such small isolated system. To strengthen the conclusion of the transient stability simulation is also carried out on the disturbance or fault condition. So, the maximum capacity of Solar PV can be connected to the system has a solid foundation.
