To help prevent cardiovascular diseases, a portable multi-physiological parameters monitoring device based on an embedded platform is able to meet people’s needs to monitor physiological conditions in daily lives. Accuracy and real-time processing play important roles in the design of the whole monitoring system. In this paper, we implemented wavelet-based parameters computing on a portable embedded device, taking into account limited embedded resources. Because of the advantages of WT in denoising and highlighting singularity, the portable multi-physiological parameters monitoring device had satisfied behavior on accuracy and real-time of test in motionless and motion status compared with the Mindray BeneView T5 patient monitor whose correlation coefficients of the parameters were up to 0.9993 and down to 0.9060. It’s better to help users know their own physical conditions without interfering with daily lives.
