PETROPHYSICAL UNCERTAINTY ANALYSIS USING SPATIAL BOOTSTRAPPING

摘要

A workflow is developed to provide uncertainty estimatesof petrophysical property logs. This methodemploys a spatial bootstrap sampling scheme to produceranges of probable petrophysical models that honorcore reference data. Therefore, realized uncertainties areobjective. This workflow is applied to field data, andcalculated low and high property logs lie reasonablywithin the variance of the core data.
