Testing the Ericsson 10/11 GHz Dish at 10.368 GHz

I tell my students "One of the best things about amateur radio is that we are a fraternity and we help each other". (I do not mean fraternity in the strict sense, so all you YL's out there, please to not be upset!) And so, when Terry Price W8ZN of Directive Systems fame mentioned he had a few dishes he got from a scrapper that looked promising at 10 GHz, I said to send one down and we would test it in our anechoic chamber. Terry was initially quite skeptical, as, when he removed the radome for a peek at the feed, he learned it was a VERY deep dish design! This is shown in Figure 1.
