Building a 100 Watt, 6 Centimeter Amplifier

A few years ago I started experimenting with surplus amplifiers I bought off eBay trying to build up some kind of assembly that would work for my six centimeter plans for EME. I had bought a couple of power amp strips from France and when testing one of them with loose wires connected for the Drain and Gate bias voltages, one of the wires fell off the edge of the bench and nicely poked itself right into the hole of a 110 VAC socket. Pop went the amp and most of the output foil. I decided then that 1 wanted to build up an amplifier that I could repair myself with available parts from suppliers like Digikey.
