The Rapid Extraction and Publishing System of Earthquake Damage based on Remote Sensing (REPSEDORS for Window) is developed specially for the emergency post-earthquake damage extraction and publishing, in order to provide more effective service in timeliness and accuracy to support decision-making of emergency and rescue. The system is based on satellite and airborne images, geographical, social and economic data, as well as progress in method and technology for the earthquake damage identification and assessment based on RS image and practical application to recent catastrophe earthquakes. The system consists mainly of three subsystems: the subsystem of RS based rapid identifying and label of earthquake disaster stricken area; the subsystem of RS based quantitative identification and assessment of earthquake damage; the subsystem of dynamic 2D map and 3D digital global display and release of earthquake damage information. The general modules such as database management, map operation and thematic map creation etc. are also embed in the system, The paper introduces the system design objective, development idea, system composition, main functions and the primary application case.
