Waste management is one of the major issues facing Romania in terms of environmental protection. This concerns the collection, transport, sorting, treatment, recovery and / or disposal of waste. Public Administration authorities play an important role in ensuring the implementation of the waste management obligations assumed by Romania through the EU Accession Treaty.
