This work proposes an improved technique for implementing a high voltage gain dc-dc converter by integrating a coupled inductor with a new modified capacitor diode multiplier cell. The new voltage multiplier cell will combine the advantages of two very well-known multiplier cells and will reduce the turn's ratio requirement for the coupled inductor and eliminate the current transients usually generated from switched capacitor diode multipliers without the need for extra coupled inductors. A detailed analysis of the proposed converter will be presented and compared to its similar existing topologies. Also, a simulation test is performed to verify the analysis and prove the advantages of the proposed converter.
