It is known that the circularly polarized (CP) conical beam radiated from a spiral antenna has a phase change of 720 degrees around the antenna axis (a 2:1 phase change). This paper newly presents a metaloop antenna radiating a CP conical beam that has a nearly constant phase around the antenna axis (a 0:1 phase change). The presented antenna is fabricated by bending a metaline that radiates a CP beam. The antenna height is extremely small, on the order of 1/100 of the operating wavelength.
