With the advent of 5G communication era, operators are actively upgrading network equipment and building a large number of micro base stations. Small sites has become an important mode of base station construction because of its low difficulty in site selection, short project cycle and low investment. In the 5G era, the importance of small sites is becoming increasingly important, and the requirements for safety, stability and reliability are getting higher and higher. At present, the main problem of small sites is that they mainly rely on utility power, but lack of backup power and monitoring system. In order to develop 5G communication business smoothly, we studied the power supply and monitoring models of small sites. Combining with the construction scenarios of small sites, this paper compares the application of power supply and monitoring schemes in various scenarios, and gives the recommended scheme.
