Current maintenance service system pays more attention to process management, causing low efficiency and passive behavior to cope with the dynamic and uncertain demands. To improve the system ability on decision support, we study the theoretical basis and the operation mechanism of each module and develop a smart scheduling system for maintenance service provider. This study improves the service capability and efficiency for providers, and makes some contributions on the theories of service network, service resource allocation and scheduling, knowledge management and failure prediction in the field of maintenance service. This paper gives a systematically overview of the smart maintenance service scheduling system and its key technologies.
