The problem of low voltage in rural power grids is very outstanding. New substations, new lines and other methods to solve the low voltage problem have limited scope of application, high cost, and time-consuming, and there is an urgent need to develop new low-voltage lifting devices for distribution network lines.10kV line voltage regulator in rural power grid is an effective method in the low voltage control, the cost is low. In this paper, a 10kV compensating voltage regulator to reduce carbon brush current is developed, through the establishment of distribution circuit equivalent circuit with 10kV voltage regulator, to carry out theoretical calculation of the pressure regulator in 10kV line, and in combination with the practical situation of the rural line voltage regulator installation effect verification, provide reference for rural low voltage grid management work.
