Liquid filled method for substrate integrated waveguide reconfigurable filter

摘要

This paper proposes a reconfigurable band-pass filter based on substrate integrated waveguide technologies. The presented dispositive is a two cavities filter that operates on 4GHz. The proposed method of reconfiguration consists to remove a part of the substrate and fill it with liquid dielectric. By controlling the liquid level, using an auto controlled microinjection device, we managed to translate the bandwidth. For the validation of this method, a two-pole band-pass filter has been designed and simulated.
