The paper considers a new way of optimum finite signal synthesis for a frequency-limited data channel with multiple poles using the variations calculus method. A new correlation for Lagrange coefficients of the variations problem is given. The proposed synthesis is used to develop a new scheme of a low-frequency variant of an optimum coherent modem that allows for the multiplicity of data channel's poles. Potential noise immunity for the new scheme of optimal reception of synthesized signals is calculated. A comparative analysis of noise immunity for the conventional scheme of an optimum coherent modem and for our new alternative one is performed. The numerical results prove that the proposed receiving method is more energy-efficient.
