摘要

Deterioration of oil filled (OF) cable system may arise a serious influence to the power supply. Thus, the deterioration mechanism and its diagnosis method are required for the stable operation of highly aged OF cable system. From this viewpoint, this paper describes some experimental results of the observation of light emission of partial discharges (PD) and bubbles in an oil gap on the oil impregnated paper insulation system under a switching impulse voltage, taking consideration of operational condition of OF cable system. As a result, it was confirmed that bubbles were generated near a place where the light emission of PD was observed.
