Projecting Potential Impacts of Electrical Vehicles on Local Air Quality in Urban Centers

With passenger cars electrified in a market share of 10%, 20% and 30% by the year of 2030. the NO_2 emissions and predicted maximum 1-hour concentrations from the whole fleet can be reduced by 3.4%, 6.7% and 10%, respectively. The reductions in PM2.5 are smaller due to contributions from the re-entrained road dust.
