With the instabilityof petroleum industry, many problems occur in the closely related plastic industry. With limite draw material supply, new alternatives need to be found which meet the requirements of society- and can support sustainable thinking. Solutions could be biological based polymers although their processing and application have several inconveniences which need to be solved before they are market ready.
