RESEARCH ON USE OF GPS DATA FROM REMOTE CONTROLLED OBSERVATION SYSTEM TO CLARIFY THE ACTUAL CONDITION OF URBAN CLIMATE

摘要

The aim of this research is to develop a remote control weather observation system. Specifically, we are developing a system that moves to a specific point directed by a computer, and transmits meteorological data at that point using remote control. This is a device that moves by reflecting GPS data to a power unit, and the weather measuring instrument placed on it collects data and sends it to a computer. The ultimate goal of this research is to use this device to clarify the actual situation of urban climate in a target area. Furthermore, we examined improvement of the device. We reveal the efficiency of the device in the case the gross weight of the device is lighter than the previous device.
