This paper presents a method for optimally operating a hybrid system of fuel cell and photovoltaic in household. We apply a stochastic programming in which solar radiation and power demands are considered as random variables to the system. An error between the predicted value and the actual value in the intensity of solar radiation for one year is used to determine variance and mean in random variables, while the power demand in residence is calculated from the typical expected demand in every season. We confirm the effective of our study through simulations by comparing the amount of annual operation cost with the deterministic method.
