The utilization of the Ka-band in satellite communication systems is assumed to grow in near future. Studied have been carried out at Korea Radio Promotion Association, Mokdong, Seoul from four years meteorological, Ka-band, sourced from the National Radio Research Agency (RRA). This paper reports the results obtained from Ka-band signal measurement at the Earth station situated in 37.54470N and 126.88330E for Koreasat 6 located at 1160E from 2013 to 2016. The measured cumulative distribution functions of total attenuation are compared to ITU-R P. 618-12 models' prediction. Furthermore, the statistics conditioned to 6 hours contiguous periods of the day are shown.
