The insulating oil has been used in high voltage equipment. In Japan vegetable oil is little used. Electrical power equipment is used on various temperatures in the areas. We investigated AC breakdown properties of vegetable oil from room temperature to 120°C. AC electric strength (Fb) of the vegetable and mineral oil were increased with the temperature rising.
