Key Challenges and Success Factors in IoT - A Study on Impact of Data

The Internet of Things (IoT) has evolved with the convergence of multiple technologies from wireless to internet. The scope of IoT applications and its usage gets wider from RFID based tracking systems till 5G based applications. This trend will further expand wider to meet the huge demand. The pace at which the IoT grows is based on various factors, few enables it and few acts as impediments. Based on the literature study done with specific focus on data trend and usage, this paper lists the main factors, that can also be called as variables of IoT success, that contributes to the pace of IoT development and deployment.
