Distributed energy resources on distribution systems have brought challenges and opportunities to the network management schemes. By coordinating and controlling local controllable resources, a novel distributed voltage control strategy is proposed in this paper employing a multiple agent system platform. It aims to manage the network voltage within the limits while realizing distributed network operators' (DNOs) profit maximization and distributed generation MW maximization simultaneously. A case study has been carried out in a simplified UK 11kV distribution network composed of wind power, microgrids(MGs) and controllable loads. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed voltage control strategy have been demonstrated.
