摘要

In this paper, the effect of variation of angle between the magnetic field axes of armature field and PM rotor field on armature reaction and performance of a Hybrid Permanent Magnet Induction Machine (PMIM) is presented. The variation of resultant air gap flux density and torque-slip characteristics of the machine for different angle between the magnetic field axes were obtained using Finite Element Method. The comparative analysis of the results portray a method to achieve variation in the air gap flux and torque of the machine.
