A new integer frequency offset estimation method for OFDM signals

摘要

In this paper, a preamble aided integer frequency offset (IFO) estimation scheme is proposed. The proposed algorithm estimates the IFO by using cross correlation with extended correlation length. The performance is investigated by means of probability of failure to detect IFO with the existing integer frequency synchronization methods in multipath rayleigh fading scenario, through simulation and it is observed that proposed algorithm outperforms existing techniques.
