With wearable devices becoming more popular these days, attention is being paid to how wearable sensors can help people who need assistive devices. This project focuses on using a flex sensor, a servo, and the Arduino Uno microcontroller to mimic finger joint motion, as a first step to control a finger prosthesis. The angle of the flex sensor is measured by a divider and an inclinometer and the Arduino is used to position the servo within a range of 90° in our design.
