摘要

In order to make full use of the existing voltage sag recording device, a practical location algorithm is proposed based on the voltage sag magnitude. Firstly, the fault distance distribution function is established by a nodal impedance matrix that well reflects the variation of fault distance, and according to fault distance distribution function and the post-fault voltage sag data measured by monitor the fault distance is then calculated. Secondly, determining the placement scheme can well find the fault position in the whole power grid. Finally, we only use voltage sags magnitude to locate the fault position. The simulation results and error analysis show that the proposed method is correct and available.
